Remington New Model Pocket Conversion Spur Trigger Revolver, #17604, .32 RF cal., 3.5'' octagon barrel, blued finish, two-piece smooth walnut grips, fixed blade front sight, and ''U''-shaped rear sight. Top of the barrel is marked in three-lines ''PATENTED SEPT. 14, 1858. MARCH 17, 1865/E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION, NEW YORK U S A/NEW MODEL''. Matching numbers on left side of the grip frame and back of the left grip. Underside of the barrel is numbered ''17604''. Both pieces of the cylinder are numbered ''4896''. Overall condition is very good, displaying approx. 75% of an old, refinished blue; showing general thinning and toning. Barrel address is partially legible, with the third line that contains ''New Model'' being almost completely worn away. Grips are near fine with beautiful grain patterns, moderate handling marks; majority of their rich finish remains. Action is crisp and functions smoothly.
